品珍歷史 History of Pun Chun

  

一八九八年,品珍創辦人黎仁山先生於中環租庇利街售賣豉油為生。當時舖位的設施十分簡陋,貨品種類只有醬油、面豉、酸薑等。黎氏一家居住在舖上屠,舖後是天井,天台則是發酵醬油的地方。

In 1898 (Qing Dynasty), Mr. Lai Yan Shan, founder of Pun Chun soy sauce, started a small shop on Jubilee Street, Central, where he sells soy sauce, bean paste and marinated ginger. The family lived upstairs of the shop and the soybean fermentation process told place on the roof.

  

品珍首間廠房位於九龍城,於三十年代興建。該廠房經歷過第二次世界大戰,仍然屹立不倒,但最後不敵政府在五十年代末的市區重建計劃,需要搬遷。

In the 1930s’, Pun Chun built their first factory in Kowloon City. It survived Word War II with minimal damage, but unfortunately could not escape the district development plan by the Hong Kong Government in the late 50’s, and was forced to relocate.

  

在一九六一年,品珍正式搬遷到位於元朗洪水橋的現址,繼續生產及將香港醬油發揚光大。

Since 1961, Pun Chun factory sits in Yuen Long and have continued to produce and develop ‘Made in Hong Kong’ Soy Sauce since then. 

  

  

「食豉油,邊隻好,梗係品字牌鮮抽王真正好,營養高,味道鮮,價錢呢?最公道。」這首七十年代家喻戶曉的廣告歌,把品珍旗下的品字牌鮮抽王唱到街知巷聞。而品字牌的鮮抽王亦憑豆香味鮮、價錢平,受到用家歡迎。

In the 1970s’, Pun Chun launched their first TV commercial with a catchy theme song, which got a lot of positive attention and made Pun Chun Soy Sauce very popular.

  

品珍商標經過多年來的轉變,昤至今天,分別有品字牌、駱駝牌及鹿牌。除了供應給香港本地市場外,品珍產品已遍佈全球,包括澳洲、英國、韓國、新加坡、馬來西亞。

Over the years, Pun Chun’s trademarks have transformed and developed into three brands – Triangle, Camel and Deer. Beside Hong Kong local market, Pun Chun expanded its business across the Global such as Australia, United Kingdom, South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia.
